A RESOLUTION OF THE TIGARD CITY COUNCIL AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN AN
AGREL+MENT WITH THE OREGON DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR TPULFPIC SIGNAL,
IMPROVEMENTS AT THE INTERSECTION OF BEA"VERTION-TUALATIN HIGHWAY AND DURHAM ROAD.
WHEREAS, Beaverton-Tualatin High,-:ay (43all Boulevard) is a State highway; and
WHERFJkS, the City has requested tha-- traffic signals be installed at the
intersection of Beaveton-Te_alatin Highway and Durham Road;
WHEREAS, &n agraement has yeen prepared providing for the State to design and
install the desired signal improvements and providing for the allocation of
project costs; and
WHEREAS, the City has the required funds available from the Major Streets
Traffic Safety Improvement Bond approved by the voters in November of 1988.
NOW, THRAgFORE. BE IT RESOLVED by the Tiaard City Council that
Sect ion, ; The Council hereby authorises the Mayor to sign, on behalf of the
City, an agreement with the Oregon Depar--ment of Transportation_
identifying their respective obligations relative to traffic
signal improvements at the intereetition of Beaverton-Tualatin
Highway and Durham* Road.
