RESOLUTION NO. 89--/ —
A RESOLUTION INITIATING ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF TIGARD OF THE TERRITORY AS
DESCRIBED IN EXHIBIT "A" AND OUTLINED IN EXHIBIT "B" ATTACHED. (ZCA 88-18)

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tigaed held a public hearing on
February 13, 1989 to consider the annexation of 2 parcels consisting of 5.10
acres located at 11575 Beef Bend Road; and
WHEREAS. URS 199.490 (1) (a) gives the governing body the authority to
initiate a minas boundary change by adoption of a resolution; and
WHEREAS, the proposed annexation constitutes a "minor boundary change" under
Boundary Commission Law 199.410 to 199.510.
NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
Section 1: The City Council, pursuant to ORS 199.490 (1) (a) hereby
initiates proceedings for annexation of the territory described
in Exhibit "A" and outlined in Exhibit "B" to the City.
Section 2: The Council hereby approves the proposed annexation and
requests the Boundary Commission to approve it and effect it as
soon as possible.
Section 3: The City Recorder is hereby directed to file certified copies
of the resolution with t.be Portland Metropolitan Area Local
Coverninent Boundary Commission at once.

Rage , West Willamette meridian, Washington County, Oregon, and being
described as follows:
Beginning at the center of said Section 10; thence West, on the north line of
the southeast quarter of said section 10, 193.02 feet to the center of County
Road 5-148 (SW Beef Bend Road); thence South 60- 45' West, on the center of
said county road, 62.4 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence North 41
