Lane; and
WHEREAS, the proposed intersection: improvements would casae cart.nn revisions
to the C;i.ty street system; and
WHEREAS, the proposed improvements are being made in order ...o improve traffic
safety in the area; and
WHEREAS, the Tigard City Council wishes to support and encourage the State and
County in proceeding with the , ruposed project; nand
WHEREAS, an agra:ement has been prepared providing for- the improvemonts to be
made and the sharing of constructiun and maintenance reseonsiibilitios.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE. IT RESOLNLD by the Tigard City Council that:
The Mayor and City Recorder sign, on behalf of the City, an agreement between
the State of Oregon, the City of Iig+:ard, Washington County and thio Tualatin
Rural Fire Protect:i.un District identifying their respective obligations
relative to the cons enction and maintenance of the proposed intersection
impruvaments on P:xc-.Fic Pi,31iWay :t Caretcrbury Lane.
