RESOLUTION NO. 88-9Z
A RESOLUTION RATIFYING AMENDMENTS TO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE OREGON
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS AT THE
INTERSECTION OF PACIFIC HIGHWAY AND S.W. 78TH AVENUE.
WHEREAS, on June 1 , 1988, by Resolution No. 88-45 the City
Council authorized the Mayor and the City Recorder to sign an
agreement with the Oregon Department of Transportation for
roadway improvements at the intersection of Pacific Highway and
S.W. 78th Avenue; and
WHEREAS, after June 1 , 1988, representatives of the City and
O.D.O.T. negotiated amendments to said agreement; and
WHEREAS, said agreement has been amended in a manner consistent
with prior City action concerning the Dartmouth LID and other
related roadway improvements and to the satisfaction of the City
Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TIGARD CITY COUNCIL THAT:
Sect3_on 1 : The City Council hereby ratifies, as amended, the
agreement entitled "Cooperative Improvement Agreement/Traffic
€: Signal Project" entered into by and between the City of Tigard
and the Oregon Department of Transportation, providing for the
design and construction of intersection revisions at the inter-
section of Pacific Highway West and S.W. 78th Avenue.
Section 2: The City Council hereby authorizes the president of
the Council to sign, on behalf of the City, the amended
Cooperative Improvement Agreement mentioned in Section 1 , above.
