RESOLUTION NO. 88-72
RESOLUTION HONORING ROBERT W. JEAN
WHEREAS, Bob Jear_ has served the City of Tigard in the capacity of City
Administrator since September 1, 1981; and
WHEREAS, Bob Jean was instrumental in assuring Tigard's financial stability
during years of financial stress; and
WHEREAS, Bob Jean has guided Tigard through the past 7 years, during which
time substantial increases in population and services to the public have
occurred; and
WHEREAS, Bob Jean has provided both the technical expertise and the physical
stamina to endure and surpass the workload presented to him; and
WHEREAS, Bob Jean's anergy and vision have helped make Tigard financially
sound, professionally staffed and poised to effectively accommodate future
growth; and
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the contributions made to the Tigard
community by Bob Jean, and realizes these contributions are invaluable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that the Council
extends its heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Bob Jean for his outstanding
leadership and dedication to the City of Tigard, which he has helped mold into
the city it is today and the city it will be in the future.
