WHEREAS. the City Center Plan Task Force reviewud the final draft of the "City

development strategy to foster and guide public and private investment in the
area and assist in rw establishing Tigard" downtown as the traditional town

WICUREAS, it is intended that the recommended strategies and priorities outlined
in this plan be used in the fonnulation of the City CerLur Redevelopment Plan;
and
WHEREAS, an important e7ewnt in building consensus for the City C C,1-1 t C,r
Redevelopment Plan is distributing pertinent information to the public.
NOW, THEREFORE_ BE IT RESOLVED by the ligand City Council that:
Section 1: The Tigard City Council accepts the "City Center Market
Evaluation" and directs City staff to use the recommended
strategies and priorities in the formulation of the City Center
Redevelopment Platt.
Section 2: The Tigard City Council authorizes release of the document for
public distribution.
