WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tigard, hold A public rioaring on
May 9, 1988, to consider annexation of .35 acres located at 14230 S.W. 117th
Avenue (ZCA 88--04 - Tiyhe) and 3.05 acres located at 12902 S.W. walnut (ICA
88--02 - 129th & Walnut); and
WHEREAS, Resolution Nos. 88-37 and 88"--38 were adopted on May 9, 1988,
initiating proceedings For annexation of the Tighe and 129th & Walnut
territory and requesting approval by the Portland Metropolitan Area Boundary
Commission; and
WHEREAS, Resolution Nos, 88-37 and 88-38 incorrectly cited ORS 199.490(5)(a)
and 222-750 as t4ivina the ciuverninq body authority to initiaLe a "minor
boundary change"; and
WHEREAS, Resolution Nos. 88-37 and 88-38 should have cited ORS 199.490(1)(a)
as giving the governing body authority to initiate a "minor boundary change";
and
WHEREAS, Resolution Nos. 88--37 and 88--38 incorrectly cited Boundary Commission
Law 199.410 to 199.519 as defining a "minor- boundary change"; and
WHEREAS, Resolution Nos. 88-37 and 88-38 should have cited Boundary Con1jil4ssion
Law 199.410 to 199.510 as defining "minor boundary change"; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tigard wishes to correct the
scrivener's errors.
NOW, "THEREFORE, HE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
Section 1: Resolution No. 88-37 is amended as noted in Exhibit "A";
Resolution No. 88-38 is amended as noted in Exhibit "B." All
wording within (brackets] shall be deleted; all wording
underlined shall be added.
Section 2: The Council hereby approves the proposed amendments to
Resolution Nos. 88-37 and 88-38 as outlined (Exhibit "A" and
Exhibit "B").
