A RESOLUTION INITIATING ANNEXATION "f0 THE CITY OF TIGARD OF THE T'ERRI-'ORY AS
OUI-LINED IN EXH1B11 "A" AND DESCRIBL-'D IN EXHIBIY- "B" ATTACHED. (ZCA 88-04)

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tigard held a pubiic it- l,-,y
May 9, 1988 to consider the annexation of .35 acres located_ on 117th Avenue;
and
WHEREAS, ORS 199.490(5)(x) and 222.750 gives the governing body the authority
to initiate a minor boundary change by adoption of a resolution; and
WHEREAS, the proposed annexation is in accordance with ORS 490 and constitutes
a "m-,nor boundary change" under Boundary Commission Law 199.410 to 199.519.
NOW, THEREFORE, RE IT RESOLVED by tha Tiga,Fd City Council Chat:
Section 1: The Council, pursuant to ORS 199.490(5)(a) hereby initiates
f„r- annexation of the territory to the City.
Section 2: The Council hereby approves the proposed annexation and
requests the Boundary Commission to approve it and effect it as
soon as possible.
Section 3: The City Recorder is hereby directed to file certified copies
of the resolution with the Portland Metropolitan Area Local
Government Boundary Commission at once.

said Section 10 a distance of 346.5 feet thence South 0G26' West 658.6 feet to
a point on the North line of the Mowatt tract as described in deed recorded in
Book 284, page 536, deed records of Washington County, Oregon, being the true
point of beginning. Thence from said true point of beginning South 890 41'
West 131.75 feet to a point, thence North 00 26' E. 115' to a point; thence
North 89° 41' East 131.75 feet to a point thence South 01 26' West 115 feet to
the true point of beginning.
