A RESOLUTION
ION OF THE TICARD U11Y U()UNCIL. CiPPROPRIAIING CONTINGENCY FOR CIVIC
CENTER PARKING IMPROVEMENT.

WHEREAS, on October 12, 1987, the Tigard City Council approved the purchase of
real propoerty adjacent to the Civic Center complex by Resolution 87--126, and
WHEREAS, the purpose of such acquisition was to expand the parking area at the
Civic Center to accommodatu, the increasing volume of activity at the Civic
Center, and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer- is now prepared to proceed with the improvement of
the parking area and has estimated the cost of such a project to be $80,000,
and
WHEREAS, add-itiir-1 funds must be rappr_ppr-; ted in orderto procowd.
Now, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
Section 1: Contingency is to be appropriated as follows:
General Fund Revision
Operating Contingency $ <80,000>
General Capital Projects $ 80,000
