Resolution No. 87-159 CITY OF TIGARD, OREGON RESOLUTION NO. A RESOLUTION OF THE TIG.'1R0 CITY COUNCIL ADJUSTING FEES AND CHARGES TO REFLEC'f INCREASED COS"FS, REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 86-52, RESOLUTION 84-72, FIND CFTTING AN EFFECTIVE DATE-. WHEREAS, the City of Tigard has adopted planning ordinances purse ant to Chapter's 227 and 92 of the. Oregon Revised Statutes; and WHEREAS, the adopted planning ordinances require that for the purpose of defraying the expenses arising from or, incident to investigation, ev«luation and processing applications, fees and charges be prescribed; and WHEREAS, Section 3.32 of the Tiqard Municipal Code grants the City Council the authority to set rates for fees and charges by resolution; and WHEREAS, the Tigard City Council on September 24, 1984 moved to set rates for, fees at 80% of average cost; and WHEREAS, the costs of providing such services has increased since these fees and charges were last updated; and WHEREAS, the effective date for revised fees and charges is to be Jar,uary 1, 1988. NOW, THEREFORE, 8E_ IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that: Section 1: Resolutions No. 86-52 and 84-72 are to be repealed in their, entirety and Fees and Charges shall be levied according to the attached new schedule, Exhibit "A".
