A RESOLUTION OF THE TI:GARD CITY COUNCIL AUTHORI7_ING THE POSITION OF AN OFFICE
ASSISTANT I (RECORDS CLERK) IN THE COMMUNITY SERVICES DEPARTMENT" AND
TRANSFERRING APPROPRIATIONS.
WHEREAS, the Tigard City Council wishes to+accelerate progress on the Records
Management Program to be in compliance with the State Archivist's guidelines;
and
WHEREAS, the records function is a citywide function, with the citizens and
each City department depending on the Records Section to provide timely
information; and
WHEREAS, the volume of records created by the City has continued to increase.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
Section 1: The position of Office Assistant I (Records Clerk) is
authorized in the Community Services Department.
Section 2: Contingency is to be appropriated as follows:

General Fund
Community & Admin. Services $ 7.900
Contingency $(7.900)
