A RESOLUTION ACC:EP'T]'NG THE. FINAL ENGINEER'S REPORT FOR THE IMPROVEMENTS IN HE.
g.W, 68th PARKWAY (STREET) IMPROVEMENF Dis-ml TF, ACCEPTING THE PROPOSED
ASSESSMENT ROLL, DIREC;FING NOTICE BE GIVEN AND DIRECTING A PUBLIC HEARING TO
BE HELD.
WHEREAS; The Council created the q.W, 68th Parkway (Street) Improvement
Disi:rict No. 35 and directed the improvements to be. made by Ordinance No.
83-31; and
WHEREAS; The improvements have been completod, a final accounting has beer)
completed, and a final engineering report has been submitted; and
WHEREAS; The final engineering report contains the final cost of $807,885.10
and an assessment roll showing the name of each property owner, the
description of the property assessed and the amount of the assessment; against
the described pc-oper•t'y; and
WHEREAS; Ordinance No. 85-40 provides that property owners may object in
writing and that each such objection shall state specifically the grounds for-
the objection; and
WHEREAS; Ordinance No. 85--40 provides that the Council shall review the.
written objections at a public hearing.
NOW, THEREFORE., BE. IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
1. The Council reviewed the final engineering report and the Council
accepts the final engineering report as submitted.
2. 'That having reviewed the proposed assessments the Council hereby directs
that notice be given of a public hearing to be held on Monday,
November 23, 1987, at 7:30 PM at Tigard City Hall, 1312.5 SW Hall Blvd.,
Tigard, OR 97223, to review any written objections filed with the City
Recorder by 5:00 PM, November 23, 1987, at Tigard City Hall, 13125 SW
Hall Boulevard, PO Box 23397, Tigard, OR 9722.3.
