Resolution No. 87-85 CITY OF TIGARD, OREGON
' RESOLUTION NO. 87-
A RESOLUTION INCREASING STORM DRAINAGE CHARGE TO RECOVER COST OF PROVIDING
SERVICE.
WHEREAS, the Tigard Municipal Code, Section 3.36.070, established storm
drainage charges of $0.75 per unit per month; and
WHEREAS, the Tigard Municipal Code, Section 3.36.070, provides that City
Council may amend charges established by this section by resolution to
continue to recover the cost of services; and
WHEREAS, the City's independent auditors, Coopers and Lybrand, have determined
for the years ended June 30, 1985 and 1986 that the storm drainage fund has
operated at a loss; and
WHEREAS, the same auditors have recommended that storm drainage charges be
increased to recover the costs of services;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
Section 1: The storm drainage charges established by Ordinance 32-71 be
increased as follows:
Dwelling Unit (DU) Per month $1.50
Multiple dwelling unit per
ESU to the nearest 0.1 ESU Per month $1.50
Mobile home court per ESU
to the nearest 0.1 ESU Per month $1.50
Commercial and industrial
per ESU to the nearest 0.1 ESU Per month $1.50
Minimum charge Per month $1.50
