A RESOLUTION INITIATING ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF TIGARD OF THE TERRITORY AS
OUTLINED IN EXHIBIT "A" AND DESCRIBED IN EXHIBIT "B" ATTACHED. (2CA 87-19)(217)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tigard held a public hearing on
June 8, 1987, to consider the annexation of 14.66 acres approximately located
between SW North Dakota, Highway 217, and 90th and 95cn Avenues; and
WHEREAS, ORS 199.490(5)(x) and 222.750 gives the governing body the authority
to initiate a minor boundary change by adoption of a resolution; and
WHEREAS, the proposed annexation is in accordance with ORS 490 and constitutes
a "minor boundary change" under Boundary Commission Law 179.419 to 199.519,
and a so called "Island annexation' under ORS 222.750.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
Section 1: The Council, pursuant to ORS 199.490(5)(a) hereby initiates
proceedings for annexation of the territory to the City.
Section 2: The Council hereby approves the proposed annexation and
requests the Boundary Commission to approve it and effect it as
soon as possible.
Section 3: The City Recorder is hereby directed to file certified copies
of the resolution with the Portland Metropolitan Area Local
Government Boundary Commission at once.

Willamette Meridan, Washington County, Oregon, being described as follows:
Beginning at the northwest corner of Lot 7, Meadow View, a recorded plat,
Washington County Mat :records; thence North 89009' East on the north line
of said Lot 7, and the existing city limit of the City of Tigard, 222.7
feet; thence North 00'10' West on the east line of Lot 8, said Meadow
View, 78.03 feet; thence North 88045' East, 10 feet; thence North 00010'
West, 187 feet; thence South 89053' East, 20 feet to the centerline of SW
