RESOLUTION NO, 87—
A RESOLUTION FURTHERING ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF TIGARD OF THE TERRITORY AS
OUTLINED IN EXHIBIT "A" AND DESCRIBED IN EXHIBIT "B" ATTACHED.
(ZCA 87-07B) (GOLDEN KEY "B").
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tigard held a public hearing on June
8, 1987 to consider the annexation of 0.25 acres located between Scholl$ Ferry
Road, Washington Square frontage road, and Highway 217 off ramp; and
WHEREAS, the Council, pursuant to ORS 199.490(1)(a) hereby initiates
proceedings for annexation of the territory to the City; and
WHEREAS, the Council may request that the proposed annexation be approved
without the study, public hearing and adoption of a final order as authorized
by ORS 199.466.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
Section 1: The Council hereby approves the proposed annexation and
requests the Boundary Commission to approve the proposed
annexation without the study, public hearing and adoption of a
final order as required by ORS 199.461 and authorized by
199.466.
Section 2: The City Recorder is hereby directed to file certified copies
of the resolution with the Portland Metropolitan Area Local
Government Boundary Commission at once.

A tract of land over a portion of the west half of Section 26, Township 1
South, Range 1 West, Willamette Meridian, Washington County, Oregon; being
more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the east right—of--way line of S.W. Scholls Ferry
Road (County Road 348) which bears South 67* 53' 33" East, 431.13 feet from
the West quarterly corner of said Section (said point of beginning also being
the most northwesterly corner of that tract of land conveyed to Golden Key
Associates as described in Deed Book 728, Page 762, Washington County Deed
Records); thence southwesterly along a spiral curve to the left• the long
chord of which bears South 191 56' 18" West 38.00 feet; thence South 131 35-
44" East 42.45 feet; thence 65.82 feet along the arc of a 170.00 foot radius
curve to the right through a central angle of 22' 11' 09" (the long chord of
which bears South 65- 10' 52" East 65.42 feet); thence South 88' 20' 29" East
17.33 feet to the westerly line of that tract of land conveyed to Winmar
Pacific, Inc. and described in Deed Book 856 at Page. 885, Washington County
Deed Records; thence 66.54 feet along the arc of a 500.00 foot radius curve to
the right through a central angle of 07' 37' 30" (the long chord of which
bears North 11* 31' 58" 66.49 feet); thence North 88' 24' 14" West 14.63 feet;
thence North 340 52' 00" West 46.58 feet; thence North 88- 32' 13" West
45.77 feet to the point of beginning, containing approximately .18 acres.
