A RESOLUTION PROCLAIMING THE CITY OF TIGARD'S RECOGNITION AND APPRECIATION OF
DENIS BORMAN AND HIS SERVICE TO THE ENTIRE COMMUNITY AS CITY ADMINISTRATOR FOR
KING CITY.
WHEREAS, Denis Borman has served as the City Administrator in King City from
March 1983 to May 1987;
WHEREAS, he has guided King City's "rapid" growth from 1,880 to 2,000;
WHEREAS, he has successfully met the needs of King City despite the
difficulties due to the dynamically changing and diverse nature of King City;
WHEREAS, in all seriousness, Denis Borman helped establish the King City
Police Department and built an adequate financial base to assure King City's
continued vitality and effectiveness;
WHEREAS, Denis Borman's business background and commitment to efficient and
effective local government is a credit to King City and local government
generally; and,
WHEREAS, God Saved the Queen while Denis Borman took care of King City!
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
The City of Tigard officially recognizes and proclaims its appreciation of
service `co the "greater King City community."
