CITY OF TIGARD, OREGON
RESOLUTION NO. 87- L+9
RESOLUTION OF THE TIGARD CITY COUNCIL_ CREATING A SPECIAL. CIP STUDY TASK FORCE.
WHEREAS, the South Metzger area has been annexed into the City of Tigard; and
WHEREAS, there are several CIP projects within the NPO 118 - South Metzgar
area; and
WHEREAS, these projects need to be identified and placed in the City of Tigard
CIP plan along with any other impacts from the entire Metzger area systems.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
SECTION 1: A Special CIP Study Task Force Committee shall be established
to serve until June 30, 1987.
SECTION 2: The purpose of the Task Force shall be to recommend an interim
projects priority list for the NPO lib - South Metz_er area to
the City Council. The Task Force shall further wort: with the
City Engineer to update the Capital Improvements Plan
priorities per the Public Facilities Plan by inclusion of the
Metzger area systems needs. The projects priority list shall
focus on the NPO N8 - South Metzger study area and shall also
consider the improvements in relation to the needs of the
entire Metzger area systems. The Metzger CPO shall be given
opportunity for review and comment.
SECTION 3: The Task Force will consist of 9 members appointed directly by
the Mayor. Members should comprise a mix of business
representatives, property owner, and residents from within the
NPO H8 area. The Mayor and Tigard City Engineer shall serve as
ex-officio, non-voting members. Committee members shall
receive no monetary compensation.
The Task Force is authorized to create special subcommittees
and enlist the aid of private citizens and the Metzger CPO to
study special areas of concern. The Tc,.sk Force shall be
advisory only to the Tigard City Council.
