RESOLUTION NO. 87-

7JA RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 87-47 rURTHER CLARIFYING THE ANNEXATION
REQUEST BY THE CITY OF TIGARD UNDER BOUNDARY COMMISSION LAW (Walker Annexation)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of- Tigard held a public hearing on
4/20/87 to consider annexation of 9.25 acres located on SW 125th Street; and
WHEREAS, the City forwarded to the Portland Metropolitan Area Local Government
Boundary Commission the annexation request known as 'Walker Annexation'; and
WHEREAS, the Council may request that the proposed annexation be approved
without the study, public hearing and adoption of final order as authorized by
ORS 199.466,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
Section 1: Resolution No. 87-47 be reaffirmed as originally submitted to
the Portland Boundary Commission.
Section 2: The Council requests the Boundary Commission to approve the
proposed annexation without the study, public hearing and
adaption of final order as required by ORS 199,461 as
authorized by ORS 199.466.
Section 3: The City Recorder• is hereby directed to refile certified copies
of Resolution No. 87-47 and this amending resolution with the i
Portland Metropolitan Area Local Government Boundary Commission
at once.
