A RESOLUTION FURTHERING ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF TI:GARD OF THE TERRITORY AS
OUTLINED IN EXHIBIT "A" AND DESCRIBED IN EXHIBIT "B" ATTACHED. (Walker)
ZCA 87-04.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tigard held a public hearing on
April 20, 1987 to consider the annexation of 9.25 acres located on SW 125th
Street; and
WHEREAS, ORS 199.490(1)(a) gives the governing body the authority to procee.cl
with a minor boundary change by adoption of a resolution; and
WHEREAS, the owners of the property have requested in writing that the Tigard
City Council initiate annexation of the property and agree to pay all fees; and
WHEREAS, the proposed annexation is in accordance with ORS 490 and constitutes
a "minor boundar-, change" under Boundary Commission Law 199.410 to 199.510.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the -Tigard City Council that:
Section 1: The Council hereby approves the proposed annexation and
requests the Commission to approve it and effect it as soon as
possible.
Section 2: The Council approves the proposed annexation with the condition
that the property owners pay all applicable fees.
Section 3: The City Recorder is hereby directed to file certified copies
of the resolution with the Portland Metropolitan Area Local
Government Boundary Comrnission at once.
