RESOLUTION NO. 86-/3q
A RESOLUTION INI:TIAfING ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF TIGARD OF THE TERRITORY
OUTLINED IN EXHIBIT "A" AND DESCRIBED IN EXHIBIT "B" AFTACHED
(A,-BERTSONS' INC. ZCA 8-86).
WHEREAS, the Tigard City Council adopted Resolution 86--93 on August 25, 1986
to forward this annexation proposal to the Portland Metropolitan Area Local
Government Boundary Commission as a triple majority proposal; and
WHEREAS, the Boundary Commission denied the proposal on December 11, 1986
based on a recent Oregon Court or Appeals decision on triple majority
annexations; and
WHEREAS, annexation to the City of the territory described in Exhibit "a"
attached would constitute a "minor boundary change" under the boundary
commission law, ORS 199.410 to 1.99.510; and
WHEREAS, by authority of ORS 199.490(1)(a) the Council of ',:he City of Tigard
may initiate the annexation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
SECTION 1: The Council, pursuant to ORS 199.490(i)(a) hereby initiates
proceedings for annexation of the territory described in Exhibit "B" to the
City.
SECTION 2: The Council hereby approves the proposed annexation and requests
the Portland Metropolitan Area Local Government Boundary Commission approve it.
SECTION 3: The City Recorder is hereby directed to file a certified copy of
the Resolution with the Commission at once.

R 1 W, W. M. , Washington County, Oregon, described as follows:
Beginning, at a point on the North section line of said Section
15, said point also being on the northerly extension of the t-test
right-of-way line of S. W. 113th Avenue (County Road No_ 1364);
thence along said West right-of-way line South 695.39 feet;
thence North 89" 47, 00" West 640 feet, more or less, to the West
line of Lot 19, WILLOWBROOK FARM, recorded plat in Washington
