RESOLUTION NO. 86— !QL
A RESOLUTION OF THE TIGARD CITY COUNCIL AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
RECORDER TO SIGN AN AGREEMENT WITH THE OREGON DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR
INSTALLATION OF TRAFFIC: CONTROL SIGNALS AT THE INTERSECTION OF GREENBURG ROAD
AND TIEDEMAN AVENUE.
WHEREAS, the City has requested that traffic control signals be installed at
the intersection of Greenburg Road and Tiedeman Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the project- is to be funded, in part, with Federal (e)(A) Interstate
Transfer funds; and
WHEREAS, State supervision of project design and construction will facilitate
and expedite compliance with conditions of the Federal funding; and
WHEREAS, an agreement has boon prepared providing for the State to design and
install the desired traffic control signals on behalf of the City; and
WHEREAS, the City has the required matching funds available in its adopted
Capital Improvement Budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
Section 1: The Council hereby authorizes the Mayor and City Recorder to sign,
on behalf of the City, an agreement with the Oregon Department of
Transportation providing for the installation of traffic control
signals at the intersection of Greenburg Road and Tiedeman Avenue.
Section 2: The City Engineer shall be the City's liaison person for the
project as provided in the agreement.
