A RESOLUTION OF THE TIGARD CITY COUNCIL PRESCRIBING NEW PARK RESERVATION FEES
AND SETTING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Chapter 9.04.030 of the Tigard Municipal Code has required that the
City of Tigard City Administrator or his designee collect fees for
reservations of facilities in community and urban parks; and
WHEREAS, Chapter 9.04.030 of the Tigard Municipal Code was repealed by
ordinance 86-_/O_ on February 17, 1986; and
WHEREAS, Section 3.32 of the Tigard Municipal Code grants the City Council the
Authority to set rates for fees and charges by resolution; and
WHEREAS, the Tigard City Council on February 10, 7.986 moved to revise the fees
charged for the use of urban parks to allow access to the parks by more groups
and individuals; and
WHEREAS, the effective rate for the new fees and charges is to be March 20,
1986,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
SECTION 1: Fees for the use of large urban parks as defined by the City's
Comprehensive Plan are set as follows:
Group I Groups II & III
4-Hour Increments at: Covered Area Soccer and
eallfields
Groups up to 50 No Charge $20.00 $10.00
57. to 100 No Charge $30.00 $10.00
101 to 150 No Charge $40.00 $10,00
157. to 250 No Charge $50.00 $10.00
251 to 500 No Charge $60.00 $10.00
For groups such as soccer associations, softball and baseball leagues
excluding Tigard Little League, Tigard Soccer Association and Tigard School
District, reserving ballfields more than once during a week (Sunday to
Saturday) a $10.00 reservation fee for each field used for each week shall be
paid.
