A RESOLUTION OF THE TIGARD CITY COUNCIL REVISING AN APPOINTMENT TO THE TIGARD
BUDGET COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, Judy Christensen was appointed by Resolution No. 85-02 to a term of
office to expire December 31, 1987; and
WHEREAS, the position being filled was vacated by former Budget Committee
member Jerry Edwards, whose position did not expire until June 30, 1985; and
WHEREAS, Judy Christensen fills Jerry Edwards unexpired term; and
WHEREAS, Council decided the Budget Committee should cycle in June/July; and
WHEREAS, it was intended that Judy Christensen be appointed to a full three
year, cycle; and
WHEREAS, Council desires continuity in appointment cycles.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
Resolution No. 85-01 is amended as follows:
Judy Christensen is hereby appointed to the Budget Committee, not
only to fill Jerry Edwards' unexpired term, but to also be appointed
to this position beginning July 1, 1985 through June 30, 1988.
