A RESOLUTION OF THE TIGARD CITY COUNCIL SUPPORTING THE PROPOSED WASHINGTON
COUNTY GAS TAX INCRF_ASE.
WHEREAS, the City of Tigard currently receives County Gas Tax monies; and
WHEREAS, the current County Gas Tax is 1¢ per gallon and is insufficient to
cover current repair needs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that:
Section 1: The Tigard City Council hereby expresses its support of the
proposed increase or the Washington County Gas Tax from 1¢ per, gallon to 4¢
per gallon with the City share-back proposal.
