A RESOLUTION OF THE TIGARD CITY COUNCIL PRESCRIBING FEES FOR STREET AND ALLEY
EXCAVATION PERMITS AND SETTING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Section 15.04.030 of the Tigard Municipal Code allows the City to
establish fees for processing street and alley excavations; and
WHEREAS, Chapter 3.32 of the Tigard Municipal Code grants the City Council the

authority to set rates for fees and charges by resolution; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 84-54 removed the rates from Section 15.04.030 for the
reason of increasing efficiency, and
WHEREAS, Chapter 3.32 allows the City Council to adopt rates to recover costs;
and
WHEREAS, November 1, 1984 is the date when all changes to fees and charges are
scheduled to take effect.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
Section 1: Charges for street opening permits are set as follows:
A. LIMITED TIME (specific cut or break) - 4% estimated construction
cost; $4. minimum.
B. ANNUAL PERMIT (for utility companies) - $100.00.
Section 2: Effective Date: This resolution shall be effective on and after
the 1st day of November, 1984.
