A RESOLUTION FURTHERING ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF TIGARD OF THE TERRITORY AS
ODTLINEF. 7N EXHIBIT_ "e" AND DESCRIBED 1u

WHEREAS, "consents" in the form of a petition have been presented to the
City of Tigard requesting annexation of certain tracts of land presently
contiguous to the corporate limits of the City; and
WHEREAS, the consents in the form of a petition were signed by the owners
of said tracts of land; and
WHEREAS, the City of Tigard Council has reviewed the consents and set the
final boundary for the annexation as required by subsection (2) of CRS
222.170; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to the setting of the final boundary the consents of
land contained therein represent "more than half of the owners of land in the
territory, who also own more than half of the land in the contiguous territory
and of real property therein representing more than half of the assessed value
Of all real property in the contiguous territory;" and
WHEREAS, the proposed annexation therefore is in accordance with ORS
222.170 and constitutes a so-called "triple majority" annexation under ORS 1
222.170 and a "minor boundary change" under boundary commission la 1
199.410 to 199.510. o ORS
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TIGARD, a municipal corporation of the State of Oregon, at a ^P session
held on the 2Jrd clay of mw, , 1983, that:
Section 1. The Council hereby approves t-e proposed annexation and
requests the Commission to approve it and effect it as soon as possible.
Section 2. The City Recorder is hereby directed to file certified copies
of the statements of consent and of the Resolution with the Portland
Metropolitan Area Local Government Boundary Commission at once.

Beginning at the quarter section corner on the north line of Section
15, Township 2 South, Range 1 West, Willamette Meridian, Washington County,
Oregon; thence South 00 15' East 330.0 feet to a point; thence North 890
49' 30" West 430.2 feet, nt.,re or less, to the east line of Pacific Highway
99W right of way; thence North 200 30' East 351.8 feet; more or less,
along said east line of said highway to the north line of said Section 15;
thence South 890 49' 30" East along the north line of said Section 15
316.9 feet to the point of beginning.
