RESOLUTION NO. 83- 08
A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. €3-06, TIGARD TRIANGLE ISLAND ANNEXATION.
This admendment does not change the Legal Description contained in Resolution
No. 83-06. The rest of Resolution No. 83-06 is amended to read as follows:
WHEREAS, annexation to the City of the territory so bounded would constitute a
"minor boundary change" under the boundary commission law, ORS 199.410 to
199.519, and a so-called "Island annexation" under ORS 222.750: and
WHEREAS, by authority of ORS 199.490(5)(a) and 222.750 the Common Council of
the City may initiate the annexation; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TIGARD, a
municipal corporation of. the State of Oregon, at a regular session held on
the 26th day of January , 198 3 , that:
Section 1. The Council, pursuant to ORS 199.490(5)(a) hereby initiates
proceedings for annexation of the territory to the City.
Section 2. The Council hereby approves the proposed annexation and
requests the Portland Local Government Boundary Commission to approve it
and effect it as soon as possible.
Section 3. The City Recorder is hereby directed to file a certified copy
of the Resolution with the Commission at once.
The foregoing Resolution adopted the 3( - day of 74^1191OR Y
