t RESOLUTION NO. 82-J_LL_
A RESOLUTION OF THE TIGARD CITY COUNCIL AUTHORIZING CITY PARTICIPATION IN THE
REGIONAL TASK FORCE ON ECONOMIC GROWTH.
WHEREAS, the Tigard City Council finds it necessary to participate in the
Regional Task Force on Economic Growth in order to coordinate local economic
development programs; and
WHEREAS, in order to participate, the City of Tigard must designate
representatives to the Policy Committee and the Support Committee of the
Regional Task Force; and
WHEREAS, the Tigard City Council finds it necessary to form a local Tigard
Economic Development Steering Committee.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Tigard City Council that:
Section 1: The Mayor is designated along with his choice of a business
representative to serve on the Policy Committee of the Regional
Task Force on Economic Growth.
Section 2: The City Administrator is designated to delegate a staff member to
the Support Committee of the Regional Task Force on Economic
Growth, and
Section 3: The City Administrator and Director of Planning and Development
are delegated with the responsibility of initiating the Tigard
Economic Development Steering Committee.
