CITY OF TIGARD, OREGON
RESOLUTION No. 82—_34
A RESOLUTION OF THE TIGARD CITY COUNCIL SUPPORTING BALLOT MEASURE #4 —
ROAD REPAIR, IMPROVEMENT AND CONSTRUCTION FUNDING.
WHEREAS, it is generally recognized that revenues are being
cutback on the federal and state levels to municipalities; and
WHEREAS, this creates a hardship for municipalities, especially
when maintaining streets, roads, and highways.
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED that it is the desire of the City of Tigard and its'
Council to support and endorse Ballot Measure #4 which increase gasoline and other
motor fuel costs to fund road repair, improvement and construction.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Tigard City Council does hereby call
for and encourage its' members to support and develop widespread public
awareness and endorsement.
