RESOLUTION No. 82-33
A RESOLUTION OF THE TIGARD CITY COUNCIL SUPPORTING BALLOT MEASURE Ill -
WATER PROJECT FUNDING.
WHEREAS, it is generally recognized that revenues are being
cutback on the federal and state levels to municipalities; and
WHEREAS, this developer a hardship for municipalities especially
when in need of monies for capital improvement projects.
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED that it is the desire of the City of Tigard and its'
Council to support and endorse Ballot Measure Ill which would expand the
state's existing water development fund to include loans for municipal water
projects; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Tigard City Council does hereby call
for and encourage its' members to support and develop widespread public
awareness and endorsement.
