RESOLUTION NO. 82-.,,R
A RESOLUTION OF THE TIGARD CITY COUNCIL TO REVISE THE BOUNDARIES-.OF THE EXISTING
ACTIVE URBAN PLANNING AREA.
WHEREAS, the State of Oregon, through the Land Conservation and Development
Commission (LCDC), mandates that cities shall establish Urban Planning Areas, and
shall coordinate with Counties in the planning of these unincorporated areas;
WHEREAS, the existing Active Urban Planning Area boundary was enacted
by the City of Tigard and Washington County in March of 1980; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed necessary to change the existing boundary because
a property owner who owns seventy percent of the land area within the proposed
area is desirous to annex his land to the City of Tigard;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TIGARD
that:
The attached Tigard Active Urban Planning Area boundary revision is
adopted as City policy.
