Resolution No. 82-18 1 CITY OF TIGARD, OREGON f RESOLUTION NO. 82-� ` i A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE WORK PROGRAM AND PROJECTED TIME TABLE } FOR REVISION OF THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN. i WHEREAS, the position of Associate Planner with the City of Tigard has been filled; and WHEREAS, the Tigard City Council indicated in a letter to the Land Conservation and Development Commission on October 5, 1981, that certain elements of the City's Comprehensive Plan were not yet in full compliance with Statewide Goals; and t WHEREAS, the Tigard City Council wishes to proceed expeditiously with the revision of the Comprehensive Plan; and C WHEREAS, the Tigard City Council is committed to revising the Comprehensive Plan to bring it into compliance with Land Conservation Development Commission goals and administrative rules. i NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that: r The attached work program identified as Exhibit A and made a part of this resolution entitled "Outline for Revision of Comp Plan & Projected Time Table" is adopted as City policy. All seven (7) Neighborhood Planning Group (NPO) plans. 1. Existing policies look at problems and potentials stated in plan and policies. 2. Existing land uses. { 3. Establish inconsistencies between existing land uses, zones {! and plan policies. 4. Cross references existing applicable policies with LCDC goals. B. All applicable County Planning Group plans (CPO). 1. Determine inconsistencies between NPO and CPO plans policies l and existing land uses. f 2. Determine inconsistencies and areas of interest with the Urban Planning Area. f a. Primary ` b. Secondary 3. Initiate update to Urban Planning Area. C. Update data on existing Comprehensive Plan elements stdted in Section I-D above that have salvageable data. B. Establish new data on those elements that do not have salvageable data, e.g., Housing. C. Update existing Housing (LCDC Goal 10) data. (Example: procedure) 1.. Determine future population. 2. Extrapolate income levels based on present trends. s` 3. Determine residents ability to afford various housing types. r 4. Allocate population to housing type. 5. 1-4 above are determined by buildable lands and zoning. r 6.
