CITY OF TIGARD, OREGON
RESOLUTION NO. �Q(
A RESOLUTION OF THE TIGARD CITY COUNCIL REQUESTING AN ANNEXATION PETITION BE
FORWARDED TO THE BOUNDARY REVIEW COMMISSION. (SHORT TITLE - Chatterly )
WHEREAS, the City of Tigard has received and reviewed a petition for annexation
of the lands described on the attached Exhibit "A" to the City; and
WHEREAS, the petition has been processed in accordance with the procedures
established by the Portland Metropolitan Area Local Government Boundary
Commission; and
WHEREAS, the petition n,eets the requirements of the triple majority annexation
statute; and
WHEREAS, the lands described in this petition are now zoned in Washington County
As " RU-4 , and the Tigard Comprehensive Plan designates
said lands as R-7 Single Family Residential
(attach list for multiple Washington County Zones or Comprehensive Plan
Designations)
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED: The City Council acknowledges the receipt of this annexation
petition as attached hereto and made a part hereof and recommends that it be
' forwarded to the Portland Metropolitan Area Local Government Boundary Commission
t for a public hearing and adoption; and further that it is the intent of the
City Council to zone this property to the Comprehensive Plan designation upon
approval of this annexation by ordinance, following the approval of the Portland
Metropolitan Area Local Government Boundary Commission.
