RESOLUTION No. 80--ZY—
A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING APPRECIATION OF THE CITY OF TIGARD TO DONALD
L. REA FOR PUBLIC SERVICE AS A MEMBER OF THE TIGARD POLICE DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, Donald L. Rea has served as a member of the Tigard
Police Department from July 21, 1969 through September 2, 1980; and
WHEREAS, the Tigard City Council wishes to recognize the many
years of dedicated service provided to the community by Donald L.
Rea, who has served the Tigard Police Department in the capacity of
Lieutenant for the last 72 years.
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TIGARD THAT:
Section 1: The City Council expresses its sincere appreciation
to Donald L. Rea, for service in the Tigard Police
Department, on behalf of the City of Tigard and
all its residents.
Section 2: A copy of this resolution shall be presented to
Donald L. Rea and this resolution shall be spread
upon the journal of the City as a permanent
record of dedicated service of Donald L. Rea.
PASSED: This 22nd day of September, 1980.
