RESOLUTION No. 80-66
A RESOLUTION OF THE TIGARD CITY COUNCIL RECONIZING, COMMENDING AND EXPRESSING
APPRECIATION FOR THE DEVOTED PUBLIC SERVICE OF NANCY VAREKAMP IN HER ROLE AS
REPORTER AND NEWS EDITOR IN THE TIGARD AREA.
WHEREAS, Nancy Varekamp has effectively served the public in the
role of reporter and news editor in the Tigard area; and
WHEREAS, Nancy Varekamp's dedication to the welfare and future
of the citizens of Tigard has been instrumental in causing the City of Tigard
to become a better place in which to live, work and play;aid
WHEREAS, the Tigard City Council wishes to record and recognize
the many contributions that Nancy Varekamp has made to the citizens-of
the City of Tigard through her unselfish and devoted application of time and
talents in her role as reporter and news editor.
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CZ TY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TIGARD THAT:
Section 1: The City Council hereby expresses its sincere appreciation
to Nancy Varekamp in behalf of the residents of Tigard and
;. the greater Tigard area for her years of devoted service
toward accurate coverage and reporting of Tigard`s growth
and development process.
Section 2: A copy of this resolution shall be presented to Nancy
Varekamp and this resolution shall be spread upon the
journal of the City as a permanent record of the dedicated
service of Nancy Varekamp.
