CITY OF TIGARD
RESOLUTION No. 80-S—,
A RESOLUTION OF THE TIGARD CITY COUNCIL ACCEPTING ALL PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS WITHIN
SHADOW HILLS SUBDIVISION, GENERALLY LOCATED NORTH OF BULL MOUNTAIN ROAD AND WEST
OF 112TH AVENUE.
WHEREAS, the City executed a Sanitary Sewer Extension Compliance Agreement,
dated March 27, 1978, with Edwards Industries, Inc., to install a public sanitary
sewer line and appurtenances thereto, to serve a residential subdivision, to
specified standards; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has accepted the aforsaid sewer improvements,
via Resolution No. 80-05; and
WHEREAS, said 'subdivision''s street.and storm drainage system installation
was initiated while under jurisdiction of Washington County but, subsequently,
via annexation now lies within the City's boundaries; and
WHEREAS, Washington County and the subdivision developer, Edwards
Industries, Inc., has expressed a desire for the City to accept the aforsaid
remaining public improvements for public operation and maintenance purposes;
and,
WHEREAS, the aforsaid developer has endeavored to cooperate with the
City to bring the subdivisions improvements up to City standard; and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department has verified thaw said improve-
ments meet acceptable standards; and
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of Tigard to be in
the general public's best interest that the City assume such responsibility;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Tigard, Oregon
hereby accepts the public street and storm drainage improvements constructed with-
in Shadow Hills Subdivision, said subdivision being recorded in Book 42 on Page
41 in Washington County, Oregon, Plat Records.
