A RESOLUTION OF THE TIGARD CITY COUNCIL REQUESTING AN ANNEXATION PETITION BE
FORWARDED TO THE BOUNDARY REVIEW COMMISSION. (SHORT TITLE - )

WHEREAS, the City of Tigard has received and-reviewed a petition for annexation
of the lands described on the attached Exhibit "A" to the City; and
WHEREAS, the petition has been processed in accordance with the procedures
established by the Portland Metropolitan Area Local Government Boundary
Commission; and
WHEREAS, the petition meets the requirements of the triple majority annexation
statute; and
WHEREAS, the lands described in this petition are now zoned in Washington County
as " Rte" and the Tigard Comprehensive Plan designates
said lands as 11 -Rr- "Single Family, Urban Low DenAity _
(attach list for multiple Washington County Zones or Comprehensive Plan
Designations)
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED: The City Council acknowledges the receipt of this annexation
petition as attached hereto and made a part hereof and recommends that it be
forwarded to the Portland Metropolitan Area Local Government Boundary Commission
for a public hearing and adoption; and further t`zat it is the intent of th,
City Council to zone this property to the Comprehensive Plan designation +^
approval of this annexation by ordinance, following the approval of the Pu and
Yntropolitan Area Local Government Boundary Commission.
