RESOLUTION No.
79-114
A RESOLUTION OF THE TIGARD CITY COUNCIL EXPRESSING THEIR GRATITUDE AND
APPRECIATION TO THE LION'S CLUB FOR THEIR SERVICE.
WHEREAS, the Lion's Club has responded to the needs of the
Tigard Library; and
~= WHEREAS, the Lion's Club furnished materials and labor to enlarge
the Library staff room, and assisted with the moving of shelving and
books during the Library refurbishing project; and
WHEREAS, the Tigard City Council wishes to express their
appreciation and gratitude for this assistance realizing that the
service of the Lion's Club has saved the City monies and also shows
the good will feeling in the community towards the Library and its
c staff.

NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TIGARD CITY COUNCIL THAT:
Section 1: The Lion's Club be praised for their public service
efforts exemplified by their work at the Tigard Library.
Section 2: The assistance of the Lion's Club has saved the City
time and money and thus created a savings for the
taxpayers.

' Section 3: The City Council expresses its sincere appreciation and
G. gratitude to the Lion's Club for their many hours of
dedicated service.
Section 4: A copy of this resolution shall be presented to the
Lion's Club and this resolution shall be spread upon the
journal of the City as a permanent record of dedicated
' service of the Lion's Club.
