RESOLUTION No. 79- 90
A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING APPRECIATION OF THE CITY OF TIGARD TO RICHARD J. THOMPSON
FOR PUBLIC SERVICE IN DESIGNING THE CITY SEAL, THE KEY TO THE CITY, THE TIGARD
LIBRARY LOGO, AND THE FORMAT FOR CERTIFICATES OF APPRECIATION.
WHEREAS, Richard J. Thompson has devoted his time, experience and abilities
as a professional artist, at no cost to the City or its citizens, to design a
new City Seal, the Key to the City, The Tigard Library Logo, and the format for
Certificates of Appreciation; and
WHEREAS, The Tigard City Council wishes to recognize the excellent service
provided by Richard J. Thompson;
NOW THEREFORE,
Be it resolved by the City Council and the City of Tigard that:
Section 1: The City Council expresses its sincere appreciation to Richard J.
Thompson, for designing the City Seal, The Key to the City, The Tigard
Library Logo and the format for Certificates of Appreciation, on behalf of the
City of Tigard and its residents.
Section 2: A copy of this resolution shall be presented to Richard J. Thompson
and this resolution shall be spread upon the journal of the City as
a permanent record of dedicated service by Richard J. Thompson.
