RESOLUTION NO. 79 - LZ
ANNEXATION PETITION
A RESOLUTION OF THE TIGARD CITY COUNCIL ACKNOWLEDGING RECEIPT OF
A TRIPLE MAJORITY ANNEXATION PETITION CONSENTING TO THE ANNEXATION
OF LANDS DESCRIBED HEREIN AND REQUESTING FORWARDING TO THE PORT-
LAND METROPOLITAN .AREA LOCAL GOVERNi`QENT BOUNDARY COMMISSION.
WHEREAS, the City of Tigard has received and reviewed a
petition for annexation of the lands described on the
attached Exhibit "A° to the City; and.
WHEREAS, the petition has been processed in accordance
with the procedures established by the Portland Metro-
politan Area Local Government Boundary Commission; and
WHEREAS, the petition meets the requirements of the triple
majority annexation statute,
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED: The City Council acknowledges the receipt
of this annexation petition as attached hereto and made a
part hereof and recommends that it be forwarded to the
Portland Metropolitan Area Local Government Boundary Comm-
ission for a public hearing and adoption.
