RESOLUTION NO. 79-13
A RESOLUTION OF THE TIGARD CITY COUNCIL AUTHORIZING THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO
GRANT REFUNDS FOR VARIOUS FEES, DEPOSITS .AND BONDS.
WHEREAS, the City of Tigard requires various fees, deposits and bonds
from developers, contractors, businessmen and citizens for such items and
services as site plan review, building plan review, variances from City
ordianances, preparation of transcripts, street vacation deposits, street open-
ing permits, political signs, business licenses; and
WHEREAS, partial refunds and.total refunds of:the aforementioned fees,
deposits, and bonds are frequently necessary because the petitioner or applicant
has withdrawn their application or request for a particular service or item,
or because the applicant has properly completed the necessary work, or the actual
cost to the City for a particular service or item is less than the amount deposit-
ed by the applicant, or a clerical error has been made; and
WHEREAS, there are numerous requests to the City Council for refunds,
and the council agendas are frequently lengthly and need to be streamlined,
and the majority of the requested refunds are for amounts less than $500.
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Tigard, that the City Administrator
is hereby authorized to approve refunds in an amount not to exceed $500.
