A RESOLUTION OF THE TIGARD CITY COUNCIL AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO PARTICIPATE IN A
JOINT AGREEMENT WITH CITY OF BEAVERTON FOR THE PURPOSE OF REQUESTING BIDS AND
PURCHASING 2 REPLACEMENT PATROL VEHICLES.
WHEREAS, the City of Tigard Police Department is in need of 2 replacement
patrol vehicles; and
WHEREAS, the City could take advantage of a price reduction on said vehicles
when 5 or more are purchased; and
WHEREAS, the City of Beaverton is in need of 4 vehicles for the same use.
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TIGARD CI-Y COUNCIL THAT:
Section 1: The City is hereby authorized to participate in a joint agreement
with the City of Beaverton for the purpose of requesting bids and
purchasing 2 replacement patrol vehicles. The purchase of such
vehicles would be'contingent upon final approval of the Ti'ard
City Council.
