CITY OF TIGARD, OREGON
RESOLUTION No. 78- 3.3
A RESOLUTION OF THE TIGARD CITY COUNCIL RECOGNIZING, COMMENDING AND
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION FOR THE DEVOTED PUBLIC SERVICE OF CHUCK
MARTIN IN HIS ROLE OF COMMUNITY SERVICE.
WHEREAS, Chuck Martin has been a member of the Tigard Police
Department for six and one-half years; and
WHEREAS, Chuck Martin has devoted his time, experience, knowledge
and dedication to the City of Tigard; and
WHEREAS, Chuck Martin has been active not only in the Police
Department but also with the Tigard Community Youth Services, Metro
Southwest Chamber of Commerce, the Tigard School District and other
community projects and organizations; and
WHEREAS, the residents of the City of Tigard are deeply indebted
to Chuck Martin for his distinguished service to our City.
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Tigard:
Section 1: The City Council expresses its sincere appreciation to
a Chuck Martin for his volunteer and professional service
to the City, on behalf of the City of Tigard and all its
residents.
Section 2: A copy of this resolution shall be spread upon the minutes
of the City Council of the City of Tigard as a perpetual
memento and a signed copy of same be presented to Chuck
Martin in appreciation.
