ANNEXATION PETITION r
A RESOLUTION OF THE TIGARD CITY COUNCIL ACKNOWLEDGING RECEIPT OF
A TRIPLE MAJORITY ANNEXATION PETITION CONSENTING TO THE ANNEXATION
OF CAPIAS DESCRIBED HEREIN AND REQUESTING FORWARDING TO THE PORT-
LAND METROPOLITAN AREA LOCAL GOVERNMENT BOUNDARY COMMISSION.
WHEREAS, the City of Tigard has received and reviewed a
petition for annexation of the lands described on the
attached Exhibit "A^ to the City; and
WHEREAS, -the petition has been processed in accordance #
with the procedures established by the Portland Metro- 4i
politan Area Local Government Boundary Commission; and i
WHEREAS, the petition meets the requirements of the triple
majority annexation statute,
NOW, THEREFORE,.
BE IT RESOLVED: The City Council acknowledges the receipt
of this annexation petition as attached hereto and made a
part hereof and recommends that it be forwarded to -the
Portland Metropolitan Area Local. Government Boundary Comm-
ission for a public hearing and adoption.
