SOLUTION CONCERNING VACATION OF A PORTION OF GRAHAM ACRES, A s

THE CITY OF TIGARD, WASHINGTON .COUNT(,
PLAT OF RECORD LYING WITHIN i
WHEREAS, ;the area described on the attached sheet headed
"Exhibit A," and by this reference made a part hereof, is a portion
of a plat known as Graham Acres, within the corporate boundaries
of the City of Tigard, Washington County, Oregon; and

public purpose and will be better served by bringing the entire
property into one block; one Tax Lot; and one legal description;
and
WHEREAS, it appears to be in the public in that the
said area be vacated and made available for development and use;
and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 271.080 ORS, the property 111
owner has petitioned for the initiation of vacation proceedings
as authorized in Chapter 271 ORS.
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Tigard, as follows; !
(1) "That the public hearing is hereby call to be held

by the City Council of Tigard on Monday; March 27,
1978, at 8:00 P.M. at Fowler Jr. High School, Lecture
at
Room, 10865 S.W. Walnut within the City of Tig ,
which time and place the Council shall hear any ob-
jections thereto, and any interested person may appear
and be heard for or against the proposed vacating of
said lands.
(2) "That the City Recorder be, and she is hereby,
authorized and directed to cause to have published in
the Tigard Times, a newspaper of general circulation
in the City of Tigard hereby designated for such
purpose, a notice of said hearing in the form
hereto
attached and by this reference made a p
art the first publication to be made on the 22nd day of
Februar 1978 and once each week thereafter for five
pub fishings in all.
(3) "That the particular portion of dedicated areas prop-
osed to be vacated is described on the attached sheet }
headed "Exhibit A" and by this reference made a part
hereof."

In the Matter of the Vacation of
a Portion of the Plat Known as Graham Acres
TO: THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TIGARD, OREGON:
Petitioner respectfully petitions the City Council of the City of
Tigard, Oregon, for an order vacating that portion of the plat known as
Graham Acres lying within the city limits of the City of Tigard, and more
particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, and by this reference
made a part here of.
The proposed development of the property will be better served by
bringing the entire property into one block and one tax lot and one legal
description.
The petitioner is the deed holder or contract purchaser of all
property included within the boundaries of the part of the plat proposed to
be vacated, and if the vacation is approved, the petitioner will re-survey the
entire property for one legal description and tax lot number.
The undersigned petitioner is the sole petitioner representating
the entire ownership of the real property affected and represents 100% of the
required consent of owners.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ON PROPOSED VACATION OF A PORTION OF THE PLAT KNOWN AS GRAHAM ACRES
IN THE CITY OF TIGARD, WASHINGTON COUNTY, OREGON.
Pursuant to resolution of the City Council of Tigard adopted
February 13 , 1978 under authority of Chapter 271.080
Oregon Revised Statutes, a public hearing will be held by the Council
of Tigard at 8:00 P.M. on Monday, March 27, 1978 at Fowler Jr. High
School Lecture Room, 10065 5W Walnut Street, Tigard, Or.Q.n, w1th
respect to the proposed vacation of the following described plat
in ths'City of Tigard, Washington County, Oregon.
EXHIBIT "A"
That portion of land in Section 35, Township 1 South, Range
1 West, Willamette Meridian, Washington County, Oregon,
being more particularly described as follows:
Lots 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 24,
31, 32, 33, 34 and 35 of GRAHAM ACRES, a plat of record in
said County; Excepting therefrom all portions conveyed
to the State of Oregon thru the Highway Commission in Book _

Page 126, Deed Records of said County.
Any objections or remonstrances against said proposal to vacate
said areas may be made in writing and filed with the City Recorder
prior to the data of the hearing, and all objections filed nrior
to the date of hearing will be heard and considered, and ai,y person
having an interest in the proposal may likewise verbally be heard
at said time and place.
