ANNEXATION PETITION
A RESOLUTION OF THE TIGARD CITY COUNCIL ACKNOWLEDGING RECEIPT OF
A TRIPLE MAJORITY ANNEXATION PETITION CONSENTING TO THE ANNEXATION
OF LANDS DESCRIBED HEREIN AND REQUESTING FORWARDING TO THE PORT-
LAND METROPOLITAN AREA LOCAL GOVERNMENT BOUNDARY CONMSSION.
WHEREAS, the City of Tigard has received and reviewed a
petition for annexation of the lands described on the
attached Exhibit "A" to the City; and
WHEREAS, the petition has been processed in accordance
with the procedures established by the Portland Metro-
politan Area Local Government Boundary Commission; and.
WHEREAS, the petition meets the requirements of the triple
majority annexation statute,
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED: The City Council acknowledges the receipt
of this annexation petition as attached hereto and made a
part hereof and recommends that it be forwarded to the
Portland Metropolitan Area Local Government Boundary Comm-
ission for a public hearing and adoption.

TO ANNEXATION
Petionioners hereby request that the following described area
be annexed to the City of Tigard and in respac.t thereto res.pactfully
shown;
(1) That neither any part nor all of the hereinafter
described area, proposed to be annexed to the City of Tigard, is
now within the City,
j':{; hat the area hereinafter described is contiguous to
the corporate boundary of the City, and said territory likewise is
wholly within the County of Washington, State of Or
(3) That the area proposed hereby to be annexed -comprises
approximatelyc` -��/ acres, and is legally described hereinbelow
(or on the attached sheet marked Exhibit "A" which by reference
herein is made a part hereof).
WHEREFORE, patiti.oners pray that said lands be annexed to
and be included as part of the City of Tigard, Washington County,
Oregon, and each of petitioners consents to the annexation of said
area to the City of Tigard, and requests that the submitting of the
proposal to the regi:.tered voters of the territory proposed for
annexation be dispensed with as provided by law.
