ANNEXATION PETITION
A RESOLUTION OF THE TIGARD CITY COUNCIL ACKNOWLEDGING RECEIPT OF
A TRIPLE MAJORITY ANNEXATION PETITION CONSENTING TO THE ANNEXATION
OF LANDS DESCRIBED HEREIN AND REQUESTING FORWARDING TO THE PORT-
LAND METROPOLITAN AREA LOCAL GOVERNMENT BOUNDARY COMMISSION.
WHEREAS, the City of Tigard has received and reviewed a
petition for annexation of the lands described on the
attached Exhibit "A" to the City; and
WHEREAS, the petition has been processed in accordance
with the procedures established by the Portland Metro-
politan Area Local Government Boundary Commission; and
WHEREAS, the petition meets the requirements of the triple
majority annexation statute,
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED: The City Council acknowledges the receipt
of this annexation petition as attached hereto and made a
part hereof and reommends that it be forwarded to the
Portland Metropolitan Area Local Government Boundary Comm-
ission for a public hearing and adoption.

MR. WEYMIRE REQUESTS TO BE ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF TIGARD. THE TIGARD
PLANNING COMMISSION HAS DECIDED TO INCLUDE THIS AREA IN THE URBAN
GROWTH BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY. TWO OTHER PARCELS IN THIS IMMEEDIATE
AREA WILL fn.'TITION FOR ANNEXATION WITHIN THE NEXT THREE TO SIX MONTHS.

be annexed to the City of Tigard and in reapact. thereto respact.fully
shoran; ,
(1) That neither any part nor all of the hereinafter
described area, proposed to be annexed to the City of Tigard, is
now within the City.,
(21 That the area hereinafter described its contiguous to
the corporate boundary of the City, and said territory likewise.is
wholly within the County of Washington, State of Oregon.
(3) That the area p.rop.osed hereby to be..annexad .comprises
approximately 20 acres, and is legally described hereinbelow
(or on the attached sheet marked Exhibit "A'+ which by reference.
herein is made a part hereof).

annexation be dispensed with as provided by law.
