RESOLUTION No. 77-94_
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL ACKNOWLEDGING RECEIPT OF TRIPLE MAJORITY
ANNEXATION AND RECOMMEND FORWARDING TO PORTLAND METROPOLITAN AREA LOCAL
GOVERNMENT BOUNDARY COMMISSION.
WHEREAS, the City of Tigard has received and reviewed a petition
for annexation of the lands described on the attached Exhibit "A" to
the City; and
WHEREAS, the petition has been processed in accordance with the
procedures established by the Portland Metropolitan Area Local
Government Boundary Commission; and
WHEREAS, the petition meets the requirements of the triple
majority annexation statute,
NOW,THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED: The Tigard City Council acknowledges receipt
of annexation petition as attached hereto and made a part hereof
.and recommends it be forwarded to the Portland Metropolitan Area
Local Government Boundary Commission for hearing and adoption.

TO ANNEXATION
petionioners hereby request that the following described area
be annexed to the City of Tigard and in respect thereto respectfully
ehown°
(1) That nciather any part nor all of the hereinafter
described area, proposed to be annexed to the City of 'Tigard, is
now within the Clty,,
�-at the area hereinafter described is contiguous to
the corporate tcunda<-.y of the City, and said territory likewise is
wholly within the f.ounty of Washington, State of Oregon.
(3) That the area proposed hereby to be annexed comprises

(or on the attached sheet marked Exhibit "A" whish by reference
herein is made a part hereof).
WHEREFORE, petitioners pray that said lands be annexed to
and be included as part of the City of Tigard, Washington County,
Oregon, and each of petitioners consents to the annexation of said
area to the City of Tigard, and requests that the submitting of the
proposal to the registered voters of the territory proposed for
annexation be dispensed with as provided by lair.
