RESOLUTION No. 77- 19
A RESOLUTION OF THE TIGARD CITY COUNCIL APPROVING THE FEDERA'. AID PROJECT
REQUEST WITH THE STATE OF OREGON DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION REGARDING
THE TSM PROJECT ON S.W. PACIFIC HIGHWAY AND AL'fHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
CITY RECORDER TO EXECUTE SAID REQUEST.
WHEREAS, The City of Tigard wishes to enter into an agreement with the
State of Oregon Department of Transportation for upgrading of
traffic movements and signalization on S.W. Pacific Highway; and
WHEREAS, The City of Tigard deems this necessary for the safety of the
citizens of the city.
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TIGARD THAT:
Section 1: The City Council hereby approves a federal aid project
with the State of Oregon Department of Transportation
regarding traffic movement and signalization on S.W.
". Pacific Highway between Interstate 5 freeway and S.W.
Beef Bend Road.

Section 2: The Mayor and City Recorder are hereby authorized to execute
said request on behalf of the City of Tigard.
Section 3: The City Council approves the Oregon State Department of
Transportation to prepare a programming package for submission
to the Federal Highway Administration for funding approval.
