RESOLUTION No. 77-42--
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL ACKNOWLEDGING RECEIPT OF TRIPLE MAJORITY
ANNEXATION AND RECOM11END FORWARDING TO PORTLAND METROPOLITAN AREA LOCAL
GOVERNMENT BOUNDARY COAMISSION.
WHEREAS, the City of Tigard has received and reviewed a petition
y for annexation of the lands described on the attached Exhibit "A" to
's the City; and
rs WHEREAS, the petition has been processed in accordance with the
procedures established by the Portland Metropolitan Area Local
Government Boundary Commission; and
T WHEREAS, the petition meets the requirements of the triple
majority annexation statute,
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED: The Tigard City Council acknowledges receipt
of annexation petition as attached hereto and made a part hereof
and recommends it be forwarded to the Portland Metropolitan Area
Local Government Boundary Commission for hearing and adoption.

Being a part of John L. Hicklin donation land claim number 54 in Section
35, Township 1 South of range 1 West of the Willamette Meridian, Washington
County, Oregon and more particularly described as follows;
Beginning at the Northeast corner of that certain tract of land
conveyed by Mary M. Greenburg to Henrietta W. Rue by deed recorded on page
4, in book 131 of the Records of Deeds of Washington County, Oregon; thence
South 0°03'East 20 feet; thence on a line parallel with North line of said
Hicklin D.L.C., South 89°34' West 168.9 feet; thence South 69°36' West
199.7 feet to the center of County road 179; thence along the center of
said Cctinty road South 17°46' East 184.2 feet to the true point of beginning
of the herein described tract; thence South 17°46' East a distance of
52.37 feet; thence continuing along the center of said County road a
distance of 172,6 feet; thence South 62°37' East a distance of 20.55 feet;
thence South 27°23' West 327.8 feet; thence North 89°58' West 300.7 to an
iron pipe on the Easterly boundary of Southern Pacific Railway right-of-way;
thence along said right-of-way North 19° West 69.8 feet to an iron pipe;
thence North 0°03' West 155.2 feet; thence North 52°51' East 418.3 feet to
the true point of beginning.
